Delicious bagels with marmalade

4 cups flour
200 g butter or margarine
200 g sour cream
1 egg
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp soda
extinguishing vinegar
squared marmalade — for the filling.

Prepare the dough for bagels. Mix butter or margarine at room temperature. Pour into a bowl of flour (3 cups), put the softened butter or margarine (get out of the refrigerator for several hours before cooking and leave at room temperature for several hours). There also add one egg, salt, sour cream, soda (you must first extinguish with vinegar). Stir all the ingredients and start kneading the dough.

  1. Pour one glass of flour on the table, put the dough in there and knead the dough. The result is an elastic dough, which must be rolled into a bowl and returned to the bowl. Cover with a towel or film and put the rest in the refrigerator.
  2. Cut the marmalades into 4 pieces lengthwise, long strips should come out.
  3. Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into 4 pieces, roll out a ball from each, flatten a little on top, roll out a round cake.
  4. Cut each circle into 12 triangles (in the same way as cutting a pizza). Put a strip of marmalade on a wide part of each piece and roll it all into a bagel.
  5. Sprinkle baking tray with flour and put bagels on it.
  6. Heat the oven to 200-220 degrees. Send in bagels. Bake for 15-20 minutes, brown it is not necessary — the dough will remain a pale golden color.
  7. Remove the bagels from the oven and cool, if desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar (hot bagels can also be sprinkled).
