How to surprise your loved ones without spending a lot of effort? Prepare a fragrant chicken stuffed with oranges. The ingredients are very simple, and the meat is juicy and very aromatic. Such a rosy chicken will turn any dinner into a festive one!

Ingredients:
1800 g chicken
450 g orange
garlic 1 head
mayonnaise 100 ml
salt 1 tbsp
black pepper 1 tsp

Preparation:
Rinse and dry the chicken carcass.

  • Wash oranges, cut some of them into slices, and some into circles.
  • Separate the skin of the chicken from the carcass, form pockets in which to put circles of oranges. It is necessary to do this on the breast and on the back of the bird.
  • Prepare chicken sauce by mixing mayonnaise, salt and pepper in a bowl (you can take sour cream instead of mayonnaise).
  • Grate the sauce with the carcass inside and out. Put orange slices inside the carcass.
  • Peel the garlic and send whole garlic cloves inside.
  • With the help of toothpicks to fasten the abdomen of the bird, the legs to bind with the help of culinary twine.
  • Lubricate the ceramic baking dish with vegetable oil and put chicken into the mold.
  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees and bake the chicken until completely cooked.
  • Remove the chicken from the oven, let it rest for about 10 minutes, then shift to the dish. Serve on a platter with fresh vegetables, orange slices. You can bake a head of garlic cut in half and decorate a chicken dish with it before serving.
