Baked stuffed chicken with rice and dried fruits

INGREDIENTS
chilled chicken 1.5 kg
rice 150 g
dried apricots 50 g
raisins 50 g
orange 1 pc.
thyme fresh 0.5 bunch
liquid honey 2 tbsp
butter 2 tbsp
chili pepper 1 pinch
salt 3 pinch

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cook the filling. To do this, boil the rice until half-cooked (about 20 minutes), place on a sieve.
Step 2
Cut dried apricots into small cubes, rinse and dry raisins.
Step 3
Remove thyme from thyme. Peel the orange, divide into slices, remove the film, cut 3/4 of the orange into a small cube, squeeze the juice from the remaining.
Step 4
Mix rice, dried fruit and orange together.
Step 5
Wash and dry the chicken. Stuff the carcass with the filling.
Step 6
To stab the chicken’s abdomen with toothpicks or sew up with a thread, tie the legs with a thread.
Step 7
Make the sauce. To do this, melt the butter, mix it with warmed honey and orange juice. Mix.
Step 8
With a silicone brush, properly grease the chicken with sauce and put in the oven.
Step 9
Every 10 minutes open the oven and grease the chicken with the resulting juices. Bake chicken for about an hour.

If in some places the chicken begins to burn, cover with foil. Cool the finished chicken a little, cut it with kitchen scissors along the chest, put the rice, divide the chicken into portions. Serve hot.
